The Manager is an onsite client-facing role that supports Point B by leading large business and technical projects and programs that help our clients solve their business challenges. The Manager works across multiple industries and functional areas and leads large teams or programs involving multiple workstreams. The Manager supervises the work and day-to-day development of others and may take on formal people management responsibilities within their team

Responsibilities Overview
Leads and manages the strategic and tactical elements of the full lifecycle of large engagements and drives decision-making throughout the process to move the work forward.
Fosters a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and high performance
Develops and manages complex program/project structures, schedules, budgets, resource plans, etc.
Serves as our client’s partner through all phases of an engagement, operates effectively with senior leaders at our clients.
Provides oversight for the quality of workstreams and/or components of the project, ensuring that all deliverables meet the firm’s quality standards and client requirements.
Prepares, reviews, understands, and maintains complex project and program documentation.
Manages project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maximized.
Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies, and recommends key decisions for programs.
Adapts program leadership approaches to different client situations.
Effectively leads meetings and drives discussions to necessary resolution to keep the project moving forward.
Drive business development opportunities by identifying new areas where the firm can provide services to the client.
Grows network through exceptional client service delivery and maintains relationships to support Point B business development. Assembles and effectively leads program teams by leveraging individual strengths and abilities.
Facilitates team progress in choosing pragmatic solutions and making effective business decisions.
Capable of serving as a 1:1 Manager for up to 4 associates.
Partners with DEL, as appropriate, to provide feedback to their 1-1 associates.
Conducts performance reviews and provides constructive feedback to help team members achieve their career goals.
Contributes to firm-wide operational initiatives to improve delivery methodologies.
Collaborates with senior leaders to define long-term goals for client accounts and identify new service offerings.
Coaches and mentors Point B associates and clients in developing new skills and growing their careers.
Provides feedback for other associates on their engagement(s) to support the DMR process.
Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B values.

Required Qualifications Overview
B.A. or B.S. required.
8 years minimum of experience.
Ability to work on-site as requested.
Ability to work remotely.
Ability to travel up to 80%
Ability to work non-standard work hours as necessary

Desired Qualifications Overview
MBA Desired.
PM experience leading large, complex engagements.
Cross-industry experience highly desired, or deep experience in a strategic industry.
Consulting experience desired, customer-facing experience required.
Experience coaching or advising others on PM activities.
Experience with technology, systems implementation, change management, PMO/TMO, PPM and/or process improvement.
Experience leading teams and developing others on engagements

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The estimated salary range for this role is $75,500-$167,500 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.
 
Bonuses are awarded at Point B’s discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall firm performance.
